The 40-year-old goalkeeper has indicated that he may leave Craven Cottage at the end of the season with the west London club yet to offer him a contract extension
Fulham manager Martin Jol has suggested that he is in the market for a new goalkeeper with Stoke's Asmir Begovic just one of the names linked with the club, and that would jeopardise Schwarzer's future.
The Australian international has his heart set on featuring for the Socceroos in the World Cup in Brazil and would be looking for regular starts next season in order to fulfil his dream.
When asked if he had been offered a new deal, Schwarzer told reporters: "Not at the moment, no. I'm just trying to do the best I can and we'll see what happens at the end of the season.
"I have a contract until the end of the season and we will wait and see. I definitely want to play until the next World Cup. I have to get there first with Australia and see how we go."
The 40-year-old goalkeeper was in fine form during Fulham's 1-1 draw with Aston Villa on Saturday and manager Jol has recently said that he believes Schwarzer could play at the highest level for a few more years.
