Jol: Fulham were also calm against Everton - Yahoo! Singapore Media

Fulham manager Martin Jol lambasted his part because of their asummer nighta approach after a 1-0 Premier League beat to Everton on Saturday. The west London club went down to a first-half goal from Steven Pienaar and fought to impose themselves on the fit throughout. Jol informed the Fulham Chronicle:aI feel this was one of these brilliant days. We might have had a result. aThe only point is you need to play with a little more purpose. The first half was a bit too relaxed for me, such as a summer night game. aThe 2nd half we did a little better in person, but it remains discouraging. aThe people are professional. They wish to get as saturated in the league that you can, like I actually do. Anything will be given by me to stay the most truly effective 10. aIt is disappointing that we could not get a result in the final 3 or 4 games.a
