Apparently Sunday's potential preview of the NBA Finals between your Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs will not be such a preview, all things considered. Based on ESPN's Tom Haberstroh, the Warmth will trot out an array without LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Mario Chalmers: Oh, the irony. Through the teamsa first conference, Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich notoriously relaxed stars Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili and Danny Green, and he was later punished with an excellent by the NBA for it. After almost a year of looking forward to a rematch with both groups at full power, Erik Spoelstra is currently the main one aPopovichinga us. The Miami trio is officially outlined with minor injuries, but you have to think that if the Heat did not have the Eastern Conference already locked up, they would find a method to tough it out from the Spurs. But they do have it locked up, and with the old successful talent previously over, the defending champs really have nothing to play for. With Manu Ginobili out on one other aspect (h/t ESPN.com), the struggle between two teams quickly nearing 60 benefits only became way less engaging than originally expected. Obviously, if the Spurs relaxed their players throughout the first game, they still offered the Heat a fight, dropping 105-100. Now, it will be up to folks like Norris Cole, Ray Allen, Chris Bosh and Shane Battier to keep things competitive in San Antonio and rise to the situation. But if you intend to see the Heat and Spurs stars challenge for the first time this season, it's planning to have to come in the NBA Finals.
