Hazard: Chelsea terrified of City - FOXSports.com

Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard admits he and his team-mates were 'terrified' of Manchester City in their FA Cup semi-final defeat on Sunday. The Blues dropped 2-0 behind to the reigning Premier League winners at Wembley following Samir Nasri's first-half reach and a Sergio Aguero purpose two minutes after the break. Rafael Benitez's guys confronted a recovery when Demba Ba scored in the next half but were not able to see it through. Belgian international Hazard thinks Chelsea showed City a lot of value in the opening half and paid the purchase price. He informed The Sun: "We were terrified of City in the very first half. "We showed them too much value, and paid the purchase price. Perhaps we could have earned another destiny, but we started the game defectively. The final 40 minutes were played by "we, but that is insufficient to overcome City. "We had possibilities, and we thought we could do something, but their keeper made some good saves." Defender Ashley Cole was absent from the Wembley conflict with a hamstring injury suffered during the quarter-final conquer Manchester United and manager Benitez has confirmed he will be absent again when Chelsea happen to be neighbours Fulham in the Premier League on Wednesday. Benitez said: "He will not be straight back for Wednesday. He is getting closer although not because of this game."
