FC Barcelona Versus. True Madrid, Copa del Rey 2013: Press Review - Managing Madrid

"Getting the ball to Cristiano when he's in this kind of form is similar to finding an alligator in the bathroom bowl." So says Ray Hudson, broadcaster of BEIN Sport. It was a superb team work, however, many stress has still been added to the people in the post-match opinions. In his postmortem of the game between Barcelona and Real Madrid last night for The Guardian Sid Lowe touches on a single particular angle: maybe it's the last of Jose Mourinho's ClAsicos in the Camp Nou. What's Mourinho's legacy? If it was to be earned at the level of Barcelona's energy and then be a catalyst for making them vulnerable: mission completed. ClAsicos have a pattern of feeling certain somehow, of giving solution to sweeping judgments and bold calls, of eras stopping. Usually it is an exaggeration but also for Barcelona the difficulties were apparent on Tuesday night and it was difficult to prevent the conclusion that they were about more than just one night. For several Barcelona's property a 63% a' they rarely looked like scoring. La Vanguardia called the game a and Barcelona "impotent." "Humiliation" is really a word being used a lot. The tables were seen by marca turning. Jordi Alba's late target, notes Lowe, was simply a convenience. Mourinho's head-to-head history against Barcelona with Madrid over three years is an exemplory case of just how by which statistics may lie: Over yesteryear six clAsicos Madrid effectively believed last season's league title in Barcelona, won a Super Cup over two feet, and have now attained the Copa del Rey final. It was a night when among the more enduring pictures will soon be RaphaAl Varane and Jose Mourinho jumping up and down together like school-boys following the third purpose. About them of Varane: two ClAsicos and two objectives for the French kid is still another media position. He's not even an international yet - but judging from L'Equipe's write-up there has not been a debut this anticipated in years. He's an opponent who scores headers like Cristiano Ronaldo. And today he was the hero in the French sporting pages. Cristiano Ronaldo can be in the news headlines. Demonstrably the person of the fit, scoring in his sixth consecutive visit to the Camp Nou (and thus breaking his own history in the fitting) and scoring his second consecutive brace. He has now gone away from Lionel Messi in the head-to-head goal-count in meetings between your two: twelve objectives to eleven. And finally: Iker Casillas. The skipper didn't perform, but Mourinho broke along with his customary practice of giving out Aitor Karanka after benefits and sent out the leader. Casillas, watching from the stands, was delighted. I'm not likely to speak about BarAa. My teammates were amazing. Defensively we were fantastic. We outplayed BarAa in every place. I have to give my teammates a 10/10. Our approach to this match was perfect. From where I was sitting I found a really serious and solid team. Tactically, Real had the higher of Barcelona from start to finish. We end this evaluation with Alfredo RelaAo, editorializing, as he has for days gone by three days, on the subject of the tie for As in his article: Cristiano Shows Everyone Who's Boss. RelaAo committed one content in the aftermath of the first leg to condemning the now-infamous Hyena video as a fraud, a video built to hide the fact that the first leg was an excellent scene - a beautiful and interesting game of baseball that was, on the pitch at least, devoid of controversy. Several days before, RelaAo also lamented the unnecessary concentrate on the referees from Barcelona's Assistant-coach Jordi Roura. He feels vindicated today. The tie was great to view. Both legs were engaging and a credit to the game and to both groups. Furthermore - Returning to Barcelona, I'm that Roura's pre-match declarations about referee Alberto Undiano Mallenco were a mistake: the stand-in instructor distracted his players from the game at your fingertips and succeeded only in filling their heads with ideas of demonstration towards the authorities. A final note. Cross-town opponents AtlAtico Madrid will join Real Madrid for a spot in the last after drawing Sevilla 2-2 this evening and going right through 4-3 on aggregate. It'll be the first Madrid Derby in your final in 21 years. It could be performed at the Camp Nou, or so believes Marca. It'll be very dramatic irrespective of where it represents. The day can be as yet inconclusive.
