Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger insists his side do not fear in-form Tottenham winger Gareth Bale ahead of Sunday's north London derby.
Spurs are four points ahead of Arsenal in the Premier League - a lead which they can extend to seven with victory in this weekend's derby clash at White Hart Lane.
Bale has been in superb form for Tottenham this season and has scored 19 goals, but Wenger insists his players are not scared of facing the Wales international.
Wenger does, however, concede that the game is vital for both clubs' hopes of finishing in the top four this season.
When asked about Bale at his pre-match press conference, the Frenchman told reporters: "There is no player that you are scared to meet."
Looking ahead to the clash, Wenger added: "We cannot drop points. Every game is a must-win game. We will have the same approach [on Sunday].
"It will be important to stay calm and focused. The game on Sunday will have a psychological importance for the rest of the season. In the last 12 games, we've won nine. We've made 28 points out of 36."
"It's a derby and [will be] a very intense game as usual. We have a good record in the last 15 or 16 years and we want to maintain that."
