Barclays Under-21 Premier League - ManUtd.com

Manchester United's Under-21s get the chance to parade their talents at Old Trafford on Tuesday night with West Brom providing the opposition.

Warren Joyce's side were beaten 1-0 at Wolves on Friday to remain on the brink of sealing qualification for the semi-finals of the Barclays Under-21 Premier League with a top-three finish in the Elite Group.

The Reds cannot catch leaders Tottenham but are one point clear of third-placed Liverpool and another five ahead of West Ham and Southampton with two games left to play. After the clash with the bottom-placed Baggies, United end the group campaign with another Old Trafford fixture against Liverpool on 6 May.

Technical coach Nicky Butt told MUTV: "It was a bad way to lose the game [at Wolves]. The conditions weren't great but we stuck at it and we're very disappointed to lose the goal the way we did because we didn't do our job well for it.
